THE PRESTIGE
A magic trick consists of 3 acts, the pledge, the turn, the prestige. Do remember this cos that's how the movie is structured and based on. I didn't quite notice it till at the end, that the movie's timeline and how they present things is exactly like how they mention, the pledge, the turn and the prestige. And just imagine that the movie is a magic trick and you are the audience. And take note at how they refer to the audience of the magic trick and you wonder, could they be talking about you?

But story structures and concept aside, the twists aren't that innovative nor are they THAT shocking but the story is so well put together, it's simply superbly gripping and really keeping you at the edge of your seats. The trailer itself is gripping enough but the movie is nowhere like how the trailer portrays the both of them. But it's definitely not lacking. i'd say this is the best movie I've seen this year. And I wouldn't mind watching it again. It'st THAT good.

So dudes, babes... bros.. If there's a movie you absoloutely MUST watch, this would be it. AND.. it's around 2 hours 15 mins long. So worth the buck. It's not TOO arty a movie though I do make it sound like it does but it's really a brilliant movie. Def WAY better than the illusionist.
