So i finally figured out what actually happened after replaying the incident in mind and doing some sort of CSI deduction... I definitely DID force a Right turn while my car was skiiding sideways.. now the question is whether my intervention made things better or worst, i'll never know. Cos that major scuff on my bumper is probably the cause of me turning my wheel R which caused the car towards the wall a lot more which might or might not be a good thing.. cos this act in essence helped to slow me down to a halt and interestingly enough, pushed me back away from the wall...

I guess it's a good thing cos anything to reduce the amount of force stored in the car due to the spin...

now, of cos, if it wasn't a wall but a cliff that's there, then it'd have been a different story...
