The best show I've watched so far since coming back has got to be Batman Begins. I thought it stayed very much true to its roots in terms of the whole pacing and the whole feel to things. Especially the ending when Gotham was hanging in peril once again. I loved seeing him slowly becoming the Prince of Darkness (or was it the Knight of Darkness, something like that anyway). It was comical yet exciting. As much as seeing Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vadar in Episode III. I thought the latest installment of Batman was by far the best. And you got a whole list of casts to back it up.

You got Christian Bale. He was in The Machinist and man, what this guy does for his craft is amazing. If you thought he's always so bulky, see him in The Machinist, as skinny as me. And he was super cool in Equilibrium. You have Tom Cruise's latest squeeze Katie Holmes which you get to see a scene or two of her being distinctively nippy. ;p There's also the indelible big guns like Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman who just add so much humour as well as drama to the show. You also have the unforgetable Liam Neeson who this time plays a baddy and it's just fantastic seeing him. A minor bit for Ken Watanabe (dude from The Last Samurai). And you got the classics of Gary Oldman (least he ain't the baddy this time round) as well as Ratger Huer (not the watch, tho you don't get to see him all that much but I wouldn't be surprised if he's in the next installment). And if you think it stops there, you also got the fantastic Hans Zimmer scoring the music so it feels so much epic liked and grand that it really adds to the cinematic experience.

Bottom line, Batman Begins is a funny but yet dramatic installment to the Batman franchise and you should watch it even if you didn't follow Batman when you were younger. And if you did, this is definitely one movie you'll not forget. When's the DVD comin out?!?!? :>

Now Fantastic Four paled in comparison to Batman Begins. Tho if you, like me, loves to see the sexy Jessica Alba, go watch it. She's oh so darn cute...... And if you like the suave Julian Mcmahon, go watch it too. Thankfully, you don't got too much of him behind the mask so that's cool. Besides that, nothign much to say about the show cept that, it's.. well, normal. Entertaining but not fantastic as you might have seen such cliche from elsewhere as well.

Next show for me. Sin City... Definitely gonna watch it tho I haven't followed the comic but it's def something I won't miss. It's star studded once again and wadya know. Two weeks fo Jessica Alba cos she's in it too. Along with the damn Ayoki (banged up gal from 2 Fast 2 Furious) and you got Britanny Murphy, Bruce Willie and guy from LOTR, forgot his name would you believe it. And cool thing is that it's in B&W, mostly from what I saw from the trailers so who knows, it might be interesting. :)

Alright, that's all for movie reviews from yours truly. Know it's been a long time since I 'reviewed' so hope it's been somewhat helpful. Cheerios dudes. I leave you with a couple of quotes from Batman Begins.

Carmine Falcone: You're taller than you look in the tabloids, Mr. Wayne.
[after a guard has frisked him]

Carmine Falcone: No gun? I'm insulted! You could have just sent a thank-you note.

Bruce Wayne: I didn't come here to thank you. I came here to show you that not everyone in Gotham is afraid of you.

Carmine Falcone: Only those who know me, kid. Look around you. You'll see two councilmen, a union official, a couple of off-duty cops, and a judge. Now I wouldn't have a second's hesitation of blowing your head off right here, now that's power you can't buy. That's the power of fear.

Bruce Wayne: I'm not afraid of you.

Carmine Falcone: Course you're not. You think you've got nothing to lose, but you haven't thought it through. You haven't thought about your old butler, or your lady friend down at the D.A.'s office. Bang! People from your walk have everything to lose. Now you think, just because your mommy and your daddy got shot, you know about the ugly side of life, but you don't. You've never tasted desperate. You're Bruce Wayne, the Prince of Gotham, you'd have to go a thousand miles to meet someone who didn't know your name, so don't come down here with your anger, trying to prove something to yourself. This is a world you'll never understand. And you always fear what you don't understand.

-------------------------------

Bruce Wayne: People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy and I can't do that as Bruce Wayne, as a man I'm flesh and blood I can be ignored I can be destroyed but as a symbol, as a symbol I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting.

Alfred Pennyworth: What symbol?

Bruce Wayne: Something elemental something terrifying.

Alfred Pennyworth: I assume that as you're taking on the underworld this symbol is a persona to protect those you care about from reprisals.

Bruce Wayne: You thinking about Rachel?

Alfred Pennyworth: Actually, sir, I was thinking about myself.
