Listenin to Phantom of the Opera soundtrack. Felt theatric. :p

Yesterday was a fine day with Amy. Her 23rd Birthday. I don't think I did alot. Lotsa last minute preps but tt's it. Wanted to give her a makan fiesta but my coms had some probs and I ended up wif lesser time then expected. Lotsa things didn't go as planned but then again, I didn't plan things tt advanced. You be the judge.

I had planned to go muthu's curry after collecting her specs, then go beach road, then prob go home, pick up car go 'nosignboard' seafood restaurant and if got space, drink 'zhu zha tang' pig soup or wadeva it's called lah, then end off the night with swensen's Sticky chewy. But, sadly, things didn't really turn out tt way.

Left my house only at 3ish. Went down with mom since she was on the same way as well. went to bread talk grab a bread (sounds dumb i noe) and then went precious moment or some shop to get a birthday card (things were tt last min) and then took a crap and met her at winter time at suntec. Stayed there a while before hoping down to Crystal's (optician) at peace centre. Had wanted to eat muthu then go beach road but found out tt beach road closed around 6 and it was already 5ish. Told her supposed to go muthu's but can't so go beach road then decided to go there to haf her fav steamboat at golden mile after gettin her ziplock bags.

Ate steamboat (wasn't all that great lah) but apparantly quite famous but what do i noe abt steamboat. *willie, u wan can go there n try and see if really tt great. After tt, it rained a lil which made the night somewhat a lil magical somehow. Tt's wad i think now anyway, now when i think back about it. Took a bus back to my place after navigating here n there. Was somewhat kinda fun :) lighthearted...

Went back my place to wait for the car to get back. Dad came back quite late (which when i think back now, spoilt our plans a lil.) Wrote the card in the toilet and passed it to her. :p (yeah, tt last min again) We left the house at 10. I was thinkin can catch show but think nvm. I managed to get to geylang for 'nosignboard' seafood restaurant through paya lebar. So cool. First time g0ing by that way. Just anyhow whack. Got there, no parking problems :) we had white pepper crab (1kg = $30 but was quite worth lah tho i think the black pepper would've been nicer :p) and you tiao. Just went there to eat for fun only. Ask if she wanted to carry on wif the pig organ soup but think we both couldn't really stomach it so off to the next destination.

Went to town for..... swensen's sticky chewy but horrors to horrors, no more. Amy was so shocked. So we were deliberating if should go holland v when we heard from the staff tt it was closing at 1 and the time was 12.40. called alvin to confirm closing timin but he was asleep. We decided to anyway. Rushed back to the car parked at cine and speeded down to holland v and guess wad, knn, thursday close at 10ish i think. so called XT to ask her how and she suggested airport. Amy was somewhat hesitant for all the trouble but i figured i was prepared to go driving around anyway since it has been a long time since I drove around so what the hey. Said dun leh, she'll be very touched, well hope she is anyway, her day and make up for all the times when I said no to her various cravings. Got jos to check out the timing for airport but alas, by the time he got back to us we were there liao. So, not wanting to make it a wasted trip, dropped by east coast to let her have an eyeful of stars but not before gettin her awed by a plan rolling past above us (u noe, there's a part on the expressway near the airport where planes are on the ground and rolling above the road on a somewhat fly over kinda thing) well, she saw it and was so damn awed by the size and closeness of the planes. Well, I couldn't really appreciate it since it was behind me and turning my head would be hazardous to both of us when i was driving :p

After spending a lil bit fo time at ECP, both os us took a nap in the car. Quite cosy. :) then i had the labourous job of driving back. And tt sorta ended the night. Was it a nice night? U be the jdge but thot it could've been planned better. i mean, i totally didn't expect SCC (Sticky chewy choclate) to be sold out so... ah well... sad lah, would've been a good end to the night.

Anyway, tt's all for me. Soccer this sunday? :>
