Been a long time since i updated. Let's see.

MOVIE AND SHOOT
Watched 5 x 2 last thursday with Amy and also helped out Min at her shoot at STC.

5 x 2 was alright lah. Fell asleep 2 stages out of the 3. It was really really slow. What I enjoyed about the show were the long takes they had in the moments where the situations were really tense and crucial. I felt that the actors did a very good job maintain the whole mood of the scene. But nevertheless, it was still a slow show and I had a problem keepin me eyes open :p The ending was somewhat sucky, according to amy and I felt so too. They had a nice ending shot of the sun setting in the horizon with the couple swimming away from the beach. nice shot yes but it held too long as they literally waited till the whole damn sun was behind the mountain did they finally fade to black. Ridiculous if you ask me.

5 x 2 attempted to tell the 5 stages in a relationship (the meeting, courtship, marriage, kids, divorce) in reversed order but I don't think it was done well ( i did fall asleep however so mayb i ain't the best judge of that :p ) but personally, I felt Irreversible was done much better in terms of tellin things backwards. It was really fantastic.

SHOOT, MAKAN AND SITEX
Went down to Min's shoot again at PS. Was pretty interesting there. Didn't really do much. Exciting point was when I set up the kino wif an autopole. That was fun. Gave me quite a rush just climbing up and down. :) Met farhana there to pass her the fax for Infinite then had makan with her at Pastamania. Chatted with her about spec among other things. Went our seperate ways.

Met Alvin over at expo for Sitex. He was with Alvin Pang. Finally got a face to the name I hear so often for good results and what not. Was pretty tiring day for everbody as we walked back forth the sitex for quite some time. I bought a 1 Gig SD card for Amy for her birthday. Sorta an advanced present cos it was better this way. She cna bring it to the Jay Zhou concert on sat and snap away as well as for her korea trip next week (yeah she's going korea while I'm going back to school :p ).

Went Cine to makan with the 2 alvins, then heeren to try to get cylum sticks for amy's concert on sat.

I watched Shattered Glass (rented) when I returned home. Was quite an alright show. Tells a true life story of this reporter by the name of something Glass who wrote bogus stories by faking sources to make them more interesting. I'm sure alvin would like it a lot. Anyway, that's that for that show. It was just that. There was Hank Azaria, nice to see him and Hayden Christensen (dude from Star Wars as anakin) starrin in the show.

CONCERT, SHOOT, CRAZY
Went for Andie and Chris' shoot on saturday at Whitley's. Somehow ended up being driver but I guess it was tt or just sitting on set doing nothign cos I don't think I could've contributed in any other way. jonathan and sham was there already and they had enough people to do what they needed to do. Anyway, drove Chris' dad's Hyundai Elantra. Ok car lah. drove back to my estate, security guard again wondering wassup wif the change in vehicles. Shootin period, drive back either van or lorry. Then one time, came back wif an Imprezza (rented it for Robin) and now an Elantra. Ah well, wad's next. Rolls Royce?

Left the shoot later than I expected. reached home, cut my hair then left for Jay Zhou's concert. Amy and her siblings as well as friends will be there. Took a cab down cos I was afraid to be late cos Amy specifically wanted me to be down there at 7.30. She was late in the end. Reached only at 7.50. Hate it when I take a cab and the other party's late. Anyway, wanted to show black face (was somehow frustrated tt day even before I left the house, dunno why) but decided otherwise. Didn't wanna spoil the mood or atmosphere of everybody. I hated the whole craziness of things, of her in her idol mood. I dunno why. One part of me cherishes the moment there when I see her so happy but yet tt happiness borders along the lines of irrationality. I don't know why but it scares me at times when I see her irrational cos of some person who doesn't even noe her. I guess I can't condone her cos I don't I'll ever understand the craze behind the idols and their fans. She didn't quite add to my enjoyment factor but the concert was rather entertaining. My conclusion is that Jay Zhou is really talented. Dun think he's THAT good looking but he is a great musician. Plays the piano fantastically and he even knows the drums pretty well. Anyway, after the concert, we waited for him at the supposed leavin spot but apparantly he had left liao.

We all took a bus down to city hall, i dropped off at Parkmall to take a cab home.

A TIRING SUNDAY
Met up with jope, wil, wings, cb leong and jiawen (wings' friend) for soccer. See and Jay was supposed to be down too but it was rainin so they decided against it. When everbody came, it was pouring like no one's business so we sorta relaked a bit watching a bit of Hellboy and playin dai di but ended up more Hellboy then dai di. Stopped the movie half way and went down to play when we saw the rain letting up. We ended up playin in the rain :p was rather fun. Some of Cb leong's antics were hilarious. Was a fun session.

Watched John Q in the night on cable. Was not too bad a show. heart warming and nice.





Didn't do much today. Spent 2 hours plus close to 3 watchin Hellboy and its dvd extras.

Week's gonna be pretty busy with Amy. Tomorrow's gonna be movie day, wednesday is shoppin day for Amy cos she needs to get some clothes for her trip next week. Prob spend wednesday night clubbin and celebrating her birthday on thursday.
