Dang, got this cheena song in my head but can't quite remember who sang it. Some female singer.

Anyway, last night was a good night. :) Or rather day. Had a great time watching movies. Like very long time never watch liao. Watched The Notebook and The Village. Lotsa 'the's :p.

FRIDAY
Didn't have AFP yesterday. Thot could've avoided going to school but alas. Since I didn't manage to watch Wings of Desire which was supposed to be for Expro, i went to school anyway to watch it on Friday morning. Spent 3 hours watching it plus the makin and all. F.Y.I, Wings of Desire is the show which inspired City of Angels. Anyway, the original version felt kinda crap. Like kinda too poetic. It's nice in it's sense when you watch the making but before that, I almost fell asleep. :p The hollywood one was somehow more gripping. Ah well. Gues, I'm still a commercial idiot.

I had met Kym campbell on Thursday. Kinda nice of him to spare time out for him tho he looked kinda shacked but stil nice of him. Tried to meet him again on Friday but missed my window so it's prob next week.

Just killed my third mosquito.. this is crazy man.

Anyway, Did some editing at expro room then left to meet amy at cine.

THE NOTEBOOK
Watched The notebook first which incidentally is a novel by Nicholas Sparks, same dude who wrote the teary A Walk to Remember. Anyway, the show was quite fantastic. Story wise was not bad. I guess it's not a fantastic or anything outstanding and is kinda a normal love and romance story. But somehow, there were elements in there that was moving beyond words and I kinda forgot when I started cryin and when I stopped. I mean, even till the credits, tears were still welling. Used up almost the whole pack of tissue. It's a nice story telling of first love, it being lost and found many many years later. And even then, it's still sorta the innocence of love which we all want to believe but find hard to do so. I mean, halfway through the story, you more or less get the twist of the story which they didn't make much effort to hide but it doesn't matter cos the crux of the story lied in its emotions and I must say Ryan Goseling is quite manificant in it, and so perfect with Rachel McAdams. Nick Cassavetes, the director, did a great job in bringing out the emotions of the story and the composer Aaron Zigman was great for without his music, the movie would not have been so moving. Just don't know what else to say about the movie other than it is truly a movie that isn't worth missing. to sum up, "a true summer romance which lasted all eternity" and I really think tt's the way it is. :)

THE VILLAGE
I can't go too much into the story unless you guys wan me to spoil it. It is quite a intriguing show and things really aren't what they seem. I mean, keeping in mind that M. Night Shamylan never ever has things as they seem. Take 6th Sense for example. Let's just say that the Village is kinda somehting like that. It's kinda short tho and I almost fell asleep wondering where the movie was going.

Anyway, we went back to my place after the movies.

TODAY
Went to Infinite Frameworks to do telecine for my film last week. Thanks once again to Willie for takin the time and effort to come down. You were great. Anyway, there were some shots in our shoot which we couldn't quite use. Like alf being in frame cos he was sound. No idea how i missed tt out. Go figure. Anyway, think i did a pish posh job at being a DOP. Lack of preparation. Not the one of the more glorious projects.

Amy was kinda amaing cos she was worried tt when I left today, the next time she sees me again would be at the hospital again. :p like the last time the van incident. Funny thing is if anybody ever asks if i can imagine being knocked down by a vehicle or van in particular, i can safely say, i dun hafta imagine...

I feel like there's so much to write about but I kinda dun haf the time to write it now. I'm kinda hungry and also today's our year and half anniversary. :)

Anyway, I'm gonna go now... I'll catch you guys soon, miss you guys. Take care all... dudes, babes.. Mei, hope you're ok. You looked disturbed today. Take care ok? I'll be around if u need a listening ear okie?
