MOVIES
Anyway, last week, watched National Treasure and Phantom of the Opera. National's not too bad. Quite a good storyline and good script. Nice momentum and all and the ending's pretty nice too. Really quite a good cat n mouse movie, chasing all over the place. Even one of the characters said, it'll nvr end which what makes the audience think, will they ever get the treasure or is it a waste of time? But it's quite a nice. I'd reccomend it.

There's oso Phantom and fans of the Phantom should watch it not because it's a great adaptation but it does stay true to most of the elements, least from what I can remember from many years back. Actually watched it in sec school. Most of the scenes were similar to the play. The songs were all the same as well as well as the feel. However, there were some drawbacks like it somehow feels weird watching it onscreen. It does a better job in terms of the grand feel as comapared to Moulin Rouge. I felt tt moulin was somewhat too compressed into a screen where as Phantom managed to make the conversion to screen much better but but but... there were moments which felt weird like the way they did things and the acting especially. Often, I found that once the singin began, the acting stopped. Most of the other musicals like Chicago and Mouline Rouge didn't quite have that problem. But maybe, according to Vin, they were being too ambitious. I was a bit surprised tt Joel Shumacher (or however u spelt his name) was directing cos I kinda see him as an action or blockbuster kinda director and somehow, Phantom wasn't really his cuppa latte :p but hey, tt's just my feel of things.

Watched the Korean Brotherhood on DVD which came highly reccomended from someone. Indeed it was very touching tho I believe some of the issues explored in the movie wasn't as heartfelt by me as it should cos i can't identify with some cos it's the whole korean dispute. But it's generally a nice show. And quite touching. There are some gory bits so do take care during those bits.
